James & Emma’s Barn Wedding 11th August 2018
The Tudor Barn Wedding
James & Emma’s barn wedding. They knew exactly how they wanted their flowers and were a dream to work with. The theme was blush pinks, whites and lots of foliage! Emma loved calla Lilies but was concerned they might not fit their theme. I assured her that we could make them work and had them along side Blush pink Avalanche roses, White Dahlias, Pink Lisianthus, White astilbe and pink astrantia. With lots of berried Eucalyptus to fit the theme perfectly. Her Bridesmaids had smaller versions of Emmas bouquet which matched their blush pink and pale lilac dresses perfectly. For the Gents we did simply Gypsophila Buttonholes with a touch of blush pink ribbon for the groom and natural string for the rest.
The Venue
The wedding was at The Tudor Barn in Burnham Buckinghamshire. We loved this venue. The barn was full of twinkling lights provided by Academy Productions and had a huge lit up LOVE light on one of the balconies. The couple said their I dos in an outside ceremony in the beautiful barn grounds. We made up jam jars filled with wedding flowers to hand off the aisle chairs as pew ends. We also provided a few flowers for the cake. It was made by one of the very clever bridesmaids. She placed the flowers on the morning of the wedding. We can just provide the flowers for the cake maker to place or we are more than happy to arrange.
The tables inside all had a round wreath ring arrangement with matching flowers as the Bridal party. Then a clear hurricane vase and candle sat in the centre. These looked great and suited the rustic barn surroundings.
Congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs and thank you for letting us be apart of your special day!
