Kayleigh & Dan’s Lilac Wedding
11thAugust 2018 – Burnham Beeches Hotel
We sat down with Kayleigh and Dan about a year before their wedding day. They showed me photos of what style they liked and for the overall theme to be a Lilac Wedding. We instantly decided on having the Lilac Rose Memory lane as the focal. We then added Sweet Avalanche Roses for the touch of pink she was after, the rest of the blooms were made up of lilac and purple seasonal flowers. Such as stocks and Freesia for fragrance. Clematis and Eucalyptus to give the bouquet a bit of movement and a touch of lilac Lisianthus. For her Bridesmaids blooms we used the same flowers but swapped out the pink for white roses. I always like the Brides bouquet to be slightly different to her maids.

Kayleigh and Dan said their I do’s at Denham Village Church in Uxbridge then went on to their reception at The Burnham Beeches Hotel
For their table centre pieces they decided on having half low and half high. I love this in a big room as it adds interest and makes your guests eyes travel right around the room. The high arrangements where on tall clear vases with all lilac and purple flowers in keeping with the wedding theme. The shorter ones were rings of flowers with a hurricane vase in the middle and a candle.
The Top table had a long and low front facing arrangement to go just in front of the bride and groom and to make it a bit different we added the same pink roses we used just in kayleigh’s bouquet. To fill the rest of the top table we hired out short clear vases for the Bridesmaids blooms to go into. We suggest this quite a lot as its a very good way to reuse their bunches plus with them being in water the flowers will stay nice and fresh for them to take them home after.
Kayleigh and Dan’s wedding was an extra special one for us as our own Holly was Maid of Honour who I think you’ll all agree looked beautiful with her bridesmaids blooms.
Congratulations Mr & Mrs O’Connor and thank you for letting us be apart of your special day! Xxx
